MY RIDE & DIE BEAUTY PRODUCTS

Over the last couple of months, I have created my own capsule make up collection. Primarily because I am studying in Canada for a year, and the added tax which you get to the till scares me slightly. You can see I am not a huge fan of tax being added on afterwards, especially after a Sephora haul and you get a little shock.

This year I have found make up that I love, and that I constantly return to. My everyday make up is different to special occasion make up, which would not be included in my capsule make up collection. However, my 'Ride & Die' products, are products that I reach for EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is one product that I will never leave the house without, unless I am having a make up free day. Over the years I have tried new concealers, and nothing has come close to 'lasting perfection', or it's price. Earlier this year I tried the NYX HD Photogenic Concealer, which although is a perfect colour match, compared to 'lasting perfection', it was drying on my combination skin. Collection may not have the biggest range of colours, but after living through a Canadian winter, shade 1 is perfect. I am also a huge fan of 'lasting perfection colour corrector' in green to help with the redness that has occurred from acne.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation has been a long time favourite, which works best on my skin after moisturiser, and applying with a damp beauty blender. Although I am in the mist of trying out some new foundations, mainly because I can not find my shade in Shoppers Drug Mart, I wore 'true match' today, and I realised how much I love it. It is slightly glowly in comparison to some of my more matte foundations, but it does give me a good everyday base.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara is my classic mascara. I am a big fan of the original black and the waterproof version, but not such a fan the 'curvitude' version that I picked up late last year.  'Lash sensational' makes my eyelashes look full and long, and I would compare the results to Benefits Rollarlash mascara, which is also one of my favourites. I am currently lacking a 'lash sensational' from my everyday collection, but I will be picking one up soon as I am nearing the end of two other mascaras.

Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow Palette is worth everyday pence in the £49 it cost me, just over a year ago. I may have hit pan on both the bronzer and the highlighter, but I will keep going till it has gone and I am forced into buying a replacement. The bronzer is the perfect tone for my skin, and gives my face the warmth it is craving. I love the highlighter as well, as an everyday highlighter, but for the night, I will tend to hit up my ABH highlighter palette.

What are your ride or die beauty products?
