GOLD OBESSION

There is something quite addictive about buying new lipsticks and adding more to the ever growing collection. So when I found the L'Oreal Gold Obsession lipsticks in my local Superdrug I knew I had to pick three up, well I could have brought all 5 which were in stock but 3 for 2 and all.

Now, at first I was a bit frightened of having a gold lip, but since trying it I am totally okay with the idea and the look. It is probably something I wouldn't go to everyday, and it kinda a trend that will die out soon, but for now I plan to rock that gold lip.

The great thing about these lippies are they don't shout out 'I'm wearing Gold lipstick', it is almost quite natural, especially the nude gold, which is the perfect go to.  I also picked up Plum Gold, which I am not the biggest fan of wearing it by itself. Personally, I like to wear it over the top of Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl, as they are quite similar in shade, but the gold really pops. Perfect for Autumn then.

The final of the three lipsticks I picked up was the Pure Gold, which yes I have worn by it's self and it kinda just looks like a clear lipgloss which a bit of sparkle. I have however, also worn it over MAC Mehr and Velvet Teddy, and it looked so pretty.

PURPOSE TOUR

Okay I have been a totally shit blogger the last month. I am blaming in on university, but the reality is I have just been lazy and couldn't be bothered. However, now I have my arse in gear again, heres a new blog post.

Now if you know me, you will know that I love Justin Bieber, and have done since 2009. Yes I am one of the original beliebers who has been to My World World Tour, This Is Justin Bieber (ITV), Believe Tour and now Purpose Tour. I was obsessed. I admit it. Now however, I still love him. I love his music, I love supporting him and I love seeing him live, but I am not that obsessed 13 year old I once was. Yes I went to the My World Tour dressed in Purple with my  Never Say Never purple 3D glasses and 'I heart Justin Bieber' hoodie, but times have changed and I am now 19, but man I felt like my 13 year old self on the 11th October.

To be honest I never thought I would be so close on the Purpose Tour. When I got my tickets 'B3, Row K', I just thought 'Year middle of 02, should be able to see if not I will look on the screen'. Hell no. I was the start of block 2 and three rows from the stage.

I was a mess. I frecked out when I got to my seats.

I just thought 'finally after 7 years I am this close to seeing him in concert'.

Okay I was in the second row for 'This Is Justin Bieber' in 2011, but there was only 500 people and it was for TV, not his own concert.

Anyway, lets get on to the photos....

THE LEOPARD PRINT SKIRT

I think I may have just found the perfect statement skirt and yes it is leopard print, or if you want to be fancy like Topshop an 'Ombre Animal A-Line Skirt'. Fancy but so pretty.

If you know me, that I like to keep things basic. I'm a jeans a tee girl, although I do have a little obsession with skirts (the draw actually doesn't shut. but who is telling), but don't own anything WOW statement in my wardrobe.

Then that all changed.

I was browsing Topshop online, like you do, and then the basket was increasing and this statement skirt found it way in there and soon into my wardrobe, (the jumper and the shows as well) well let's just say thank you to my staff discount card. You my friend are a live saver. Literally.

This little outfit was kinda never supposed to happen. I normally dress kinda boring for work, but when you manger messages the staff whatsapp 'THE AREA MANAGER IS IN, WHERE THE LATEST TRENDS', this kinda happened, and I'm kinda loving it.

Skirt: Topshop
Jumper: Topshop
Shoes: Topshop

Do you have a statement item in your wardrobe?

THE SKIN HERO: THE BODY SHOP

As a girl with oily, acne-prone skin, finding the right skincare is often impossible, however since The Body Shop Tea Tree Night Lotion has been in my life, them annoying little spots are no more.

That's a lie. I still get spots. Right now my chin has exploded in spots, but thats cool. However, The Body Shop Tea Tree Night Lotion is my go to for destroying them little annoying white heads. Yes, gross, but guess what? We all get white heads and spots.

Now, if you have been reading my blog for a while, or follow me on Twitter, then you will already know I love The Body Shop Tea Tree Range, but this night lotion stands out for me. I have been using it now for about a year, and I honestly don't know what I would do without it.

WHAT IS THIS 'NIGHT LOTION' THEN?

As explained on The Body Shop website, this night lotion is a gel that you apply before bed to 'blemished skin', as it controls excess oil and sebum, and helps to fade the appearance of blemishes.

For me, I apply this throughout the day when I am not wearing make up and indoors, because otherwise I look like I have dribble on my chin, or weird white spots on my face. Not a good look. I simple add a same amount to the spot/blemished area, and let it do it's job. I don't tend to rub it as I feel it works better this way.

The Body Shop say to 'smooth into the face and neck in circular motions after cleansing, toning and serum. Use at night to compliment your daytime regime for blemished skin'. I however, only use it on the areas that need it. That is normal my chin and T-Zone area.

THE GOOD

By only putting a small amount of product onto the area, it does help to reduce the apperance of the blemish and reduce the size.
A lot goes a long way. You don't need to use the whole bottle to get results. Even by using a pea sized amount, it works.

THE BAD

Okay, there isn't anything that bad about the night lotion, except the smell. If you are not a big fan of tea tree, then this probably isn't the one for you. It does have a very strong tea tree smell, which may not be a problem for some, but for others it may put you off.

Have you ever used this night lotion?

Do you have any skincare heros?

OCTOBER GOALS

October seems to be a very popular month, everyone seems to love October and you know what I love it too. From the chillier days, autumn leaves, getting to buy new boots, and it being acceptable to have hot chocolates with all the trimmings, and you can't forget Lush and Halloween. As the new month comes in, I have a few goals.

1. Join a Club - I'm not talking about Brownies, because I'm not 8, but joining a Sports Club at University. I'm thinking Lacrosse, Cheerleading and Dance. Oh and Politics, because ya know, politics student and all.

2. Make Halloween Cupcakes - I'm talking chocolate cupcakes, with jam ozzing out of the middle and orange butter cream. Yep. Now I am hungry.

3. Get to 1000 followers on Instagram and Bloglovin - I have been stuck on the same number on both of them for a while, so give a girl a hand, and please follow me. Pretty please.

4. Drink more water when I am out - I need to start carrying a water bottle with me. At home, I will drink all the water, but when I am out I kinda forget to drink.

What are your October Goals?
