Wishlist: Fashion

Wish list time again!
I love, love, love a wish list at the moment. I think it's just something to do with summer and excitement  for buying new summer clothes again. I do not know but pinterest has been fuelling the obsession as well.

Top L - R: Hollister, Boohoo, Forever21, Boohoo
Bottom L - R: Missguided, Missguided, Boohoo, ASOS

I keep seeing the Hollister dresses appearing all over my Instagram and Pinterest and I have to say I am slightly in love with them. They remind me of a Jack Wills dress I got a couple of years ago (see here) and I completely loved that style of dress, hence why I am loving the Strappy Lave Skater Dress. To be honest I would like a few but at £42 that probably is not going to be the case.
I have kinda been loving the playsuit, I am yet to own one but I think this one which just happens to be called 'Alicia' (my name) could be my first one. I have no idea if it will suit me or not because I have never gone in for that style.
As summer is coming up you can never have to many tank style tops, so this Caged Armhole Tank from Forever 21 is the perfect summer staple. Although it's England so probably worn best with a cardigan, denim jacket or Kimono. Also, probably best for holiday is this playsuit, which is from Boohoo. I am thinking perfect for beach days or if you are in a hot country and even denim shorts are too hot.
Now for something more for the evening, this dress from Missguided. I love misguided dresses and I am loving this halter neck style at the moment. Also, from misguided is this Red Scarf Shirt dress. I probably am not brave enough to wear it by its self but it could look pretty cute with shorts and as I am fairly tall it would probably have to bee worn with shorts.
Next is a cardigan because I seem to have none. I have not a cardigan girl but there is something about this one from Boohoo that makes me want it for the spring and summer months.
Finally, another playsuit but this time from ASOS. I love the look of a more formal playsuit which would look cute paired with strappy heels and a leather jacket for the more chiller summer nights.

March Favourites!

I honestly can not believe it is Easter in a week, like it feels like yesterday it was Christmas. It just doesn't feel that we have nearly reached the end of March, but that does mean it is the time of the month where the favourites come out.

MAC 'Fast Play' Lipstick: This is my first 'amplified' lipstick from MAC as I normally stick to lustre or matt, but I surprisingly love this lipstick. What I love about it is that it does last after you eat, which some just come off after taking one bite. Also, it is not drying and for me at the moment if i even try and wear a matt it's like a playground for chapping my lips. Overall, very pleased with this purchase although it was only last week every day I have worn lipstick this week it has been this one.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water: I am so on this hype for this product. Honestly I love it. It just takes off my make up easily, it doesn't break me out and it leaves my skin feel smooth. I don't know why I haven't mentioned this product before, but I know why so many people love this cleansing water. I don't tend to use it for taking off mascara as I use an eye make up remover, but for taking off foundation etc it truly is so good.

The Body Shop 'Pink Grapefruit' Hand Cream: Okay, the smell is a bit over powering and some people will not like the smell but I do. What I love about this hand cream is that it doesn't leave your hands feeling greasy, which is awful if I put on another hand cream before class and then i'm like 'i can't hold the pen or write'. Not good. This on the other hand does not put me in this situation. Plus I love the packaging, it's great hand bag size.

NIP + FAB 'Glycolic Fix Cleanser': I have been trying out some new cleansers lately because I used to always use the same Soap&Glory one and most of the time it would just make me break out. This one has to be a new favourite. It doesn't break me out or anything like that and it works so quick. I have easily seen an improvement in my skin. Also, you don't need a lot. I have been using this now for around three or four weeks or maybe slightly longer and I have harpy used any. It's not harsh on your skin. Love it.

NIP+FAB 'Bee Sting Fix Lifting Mask': Another Nip+Fab product I know. This face mask just makes my skin feel amazing. I would say I use it around 2 to 3 times a week, especially when my face is feeling groggy and make up just doesn't look good on my skin. You leave this one for 10 minutes, wash it off, I then put a moisturiser on and my skin generally feels great. I wouldn't suggest it you are allergic to bees because you might react.

Topshop 'Celestrial' Nail Paint: I don't know if they still do this polish because I think its around two years old. First things first I love blue nail varnish more than I love any other colour for your nails and when I found this beauty in my collection I was like 'yes you are coming out for spring'. By the way its not on my nails in the photo, thats a Barry M one. This is slightly lighter than the Barry M one, but I love the finish you get with some Topshop ones.

Barry M 'Road Rage' Nail Paint: Another nail paint. This is more blue that what it looks like, I was expecting a greeny pastel colour, but in fact I was surpsied by how blue it was. I would say its more of a light blue. I can that this is my favourite from their new collection, simply because of the colour.

That's it for the March Favourites, but I have also been loving M&M's, Topshop Jeans and the ASOS website.

What have you been loving this month?

A Little Bit of a Perfume Collection!

Hi Guys!

I thought for todays post I would do a perfume post. I haven't seen many of these around so I thought I would change it up from lipsticks and everything in between. Yes, this is still very much beauty related.

My Perfumes:

Justin Bieber 'Someday': I love this perfume. I originally brought this back when it came out in August 2011. Ever since then I think I have got it for most christmases and for my birthday. It's just a really simple perfume. It's quite sweet smelling. It certaintly reminds me of the summer.

What does The Perfume Shop say:
'Heart notes (Jasmine, Creamy Florals), Top Notes (fruity Mandarin, Pear, Wild Berries), Base Notes (Vanilla, Soft Musk), Feel (Flirty)'

Justin Bieber 'Girlfriend': I have actually run out of this one now but the bottle is still sitting there so I am classing it as one of my perfumes. This isn't my favourite Bieber one, hence why I haven't had loads like Someday.

What does The Perfume Shop Say:
'Heart notes (Sparkling Pear, Crisp Mandarin, Rich Blackberry, Mara Strawberry), Top Notes ( Pink Freesia, Star Jasmine, Apricot Nector, Orange Blossom), Base Notes (Vanilla Orchid, Luminous Musk), Scent (Fruity Floral)'

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh:  I got this last year at Gatwick Airport as I have wanted this one for a while. I haven't really worn it that much because I don't want to waste it. For me it just smells like Summer 2013, which is a good thing. I will defiantly be using it more in the summer.

What does The Perfume Shop Say:
'Heart Notes (Wild Rose, Violet, Apple Blossom), Top Notes (Raspberry, Grapefruit, Pear), Base Notes (Plum, Cedarwood, Musk), Scent (Fruity Floral)'

Justin Bieber 'The Key': By now if you haven't worked it out I tend to get Biebers perfumes for christmas. At the moment this is my go to perfume. I feel that is quite spicy but the description its probably the complete opposite.

What does The Perfume Shop Say:
' Heart Notes (Pink Jasmine, Water Lily, Peach Nectar), Top Notes (Juicy Mandarin, Crisp Pear, Boysenberry, Sweet Osmanthus Blossoms), Base Notes (Luminous Musks, Precious Woods, Vanilla, Raspberry cream), Scent (Floral Fruity).

Justin Bieber 'Collectors Edition': I am not as keen on this one but I was brought it for christmas. I haven't really worn it that much, but who knows.

Giorgio Armani 'Acqua Di Gioia' eau fraiche: I am not sure if you can still get this perfume or note as I have looked online the bottle has changed. I did get this back in 2013 so thats probably the reason. This is probably my favourite perfume. I literally have none left and I am quite upset, so I refuse to put any on.

Perfume Wishlist:

- Viktor & Rolf 'BonBon': I have tried a tester of this and oh my I am asking for this for my birthday.
- Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet Eau De Toilette: I just really want to try a 'Miss Dior' perfume as everyone seems to rave about them
- A Jo Malone perfume: I want to know what all this hype is about!

So there is my perfumes and my perfumes wishlist. I was just wondering what your favourite perfumes are or if you have tried any of of my wish list and if you would recommend them?

Changing My Mind!

Hi Guys!

A while back I did a post on the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss products. At the time I didn't really like them.

However, one of the three products has changed my mind so much.

The one in question is Raplumzel. It's not sticky and is a perfect go to when I can't be bothered to put lipstick on but need something on my lips.

I have worn this quite a bit in the past month or so. It does give off quite a bit of colour which I like.

I know this post is quite short, but a lot of the time I write quite a lot so its nice to mix things up.

What products have made you change your mind?

Spring and Summer Wishlist!

Hi Guys!

I have just been completely obsessed at the the moment with browsing websites and seeing their new collections gradually drop in. This has been spurred on by the fact that Italy has just been booked for the summer.

1 - Zara Leather Messenger Bag
I thought this bag would be so cute on holiday. It's nice and simply and will be able to hold my camera, phone, sunglasses and suncream. Also, it is just a nice staple bag that I could use for work or days when I literally only need phone, money and keys.

2 - ASOS pleated Midi Linen Skirt
I feel in love with this skirt a few weeks ago and ever since I am just like 'I NEED this skirt'. This is completely out of my comfort zone as well. I don't normally go for midi skirts that flow out but I love the colour and with a cute crop top and maybe some wedges or heels, it would look super cute on an evening out.

3 - ASOS Fated Leather Sandals
Sandals are a must for me this year. I have had a pair of trusted New Look sandals now for about five years, expect they broke when I was in Italy two years ago and I have never bothered to replace them. Last year I never found anything I liked. These are just super simply and they will go with shorts, dresses, skirts and jeans.

4 - Motel Annie Skirt in Santorini Print
This is another skirt that I have had my eye on for a couple of weeks. I really like the A Line style and yet again you can either dress this up for an evening or dress it down for the day. Also, this would be quite nice for work as the Air-Con doesn't work.

5 - ASOS Racer Front Cami Top
I wasn't really thinking about going abroad when picking this top. I just want a simply cami top that I can throw on with jeans and converse and maybe sandals during the day and heels at night. There is one in Topshop that is also very similar.

6 - Topshop Worldie Wedge Sandals
I am in need of a pair of wedges. I have a few pairs but one pair doesn't fit me and the other pair doesn't really go with anything. I love the colour and simplicity in these wedges.

7 - Goldie Olivia Blouse in Floral Print
This again isn't really a holiday buy but I love shirts and blouses. I can imagine me wearing this with a pair of white jeans throughout spring and summer. Plus, I love the colours and it helps to get more colour into my wardrobe.

8 - Mango Halter Neck Swing
Okay, this is very similar to the cami top I know. First things first I love Mango and secondly I need a white dress for summer, so this dress seems perfect. This would look so cute with a tan.

9 - Boohoo Ceira Printed Tailored Shorts
I do not own a pair of tailored shorts and that needs to change. There is a really nice pair in French Collection but I can not justify paying £50 on a pair of shorts that I may not wear that much. This would look nice for work and they would also look nice on in a summers evening with a pair of ankle strap heels and a white top or blouse.

I also have more of my spring and summer wish list on Pinterest, so If you are interested go and check that out.
Also, are you going on holiday or vacation anywhere this year?

My Top 5 Nail Products

Hi Guys!

Okay, I didn't really know what to call this post because some call it nail polish, some varnish and I was like 'I don't know', so thats why it's called 'products' when its just polish.

5. Max Factor GlossFinity in Forever Glam
I literally lived in this colour last summer and I probably will be this year as well. It's such a summer colour. When I was growing up I would only wear pink nail varnish but as I have grown older I am not so keen. What I love about Max Factor that it does basically stay for 7 days, like it states on the bottle.

4. Max Factor MaxEffect in Cappuccino
This is quite a nude colour but you do need quite a few layers. I am not sure if its because it's quite light and I like mine quite dark but who knows.

3. Barry M Nail Paint in Berry Cosmo
I did mention this product in my January Favourites, I think. I love this colour. It's not my favourite at the moment but it is certainly a go to when I am not feeling my favourite two.

2. Max Factor GlossFinity in Cobalt Blue
This last year was hardly off my nails. It is so perfect. I love it. As you can see I am not great at describing nail varnish. I haven't worn it as much this year. I think I love this colour so much because it is basically the same colour as my prom dress, although I didn't have this back in July 2013.

1. Essie in Fishnet Stockings
Oh My. I don't know how I haven't had this product in any of my favourites yet. I originally got it the week before christmas and basically since then it hasn't really come off. I have even been asked if I was wearing gels when I was wearing this once. It doesn't chip that much. I just love the colour.

The colour on my nails is this colour

So what are your favourite nail products?

On an extra note, how cute are the New Barry M pastel nail varnishes!

February Favuorites 2015

Hi Guys!

I feel like this post should have been a couple of weeks ago. I just can't believe we are already in March, like before we know it we will be in the Summer and then Christmas.

EOS Lip Balm: This has been my lifesaver. I haven't been wearing much lipstick last month but my lips were so dry so I would just use this. Plus it smells so great.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: I don't know why I haven't mentioned this product before in a favourites. I LOVE this dry shampoo. I always go for the 'blush' one (its the pink) bottle. It is so good. I  also really like the smell of this one.

Benefit 'Roller Lash' Mascara: I haven't always been a mega fan of benefit because I don't like how hyped up their products do become. However, this mascara is amazing. My lashes look great. It's not hard to remove like 'they're real', it stays on all day. Just a really nice mascara.

Topshop Woolly Textured Oviod Jacket: This literally missed the January favourites by a day. I just adore this coat. I can't really say much else about it.

Sharpies: I love sharpies, they are amazing. I have only just started using them again for revision and have fallen back in love with them.

I ate out quite a lot in February/ end of January, but out of the four major places we went I love Chiquitos. I had never been there before and honestly I don't really know what I was expecting but I love mexican food.

Baking Corner: Cookies

Hi Guys!

I know I don't normally post on a Friday, but I had to share these cookies with you.
They are heavenly.

- 225g of Self Raising Flour
-100g of Brown Sugar
-60g of Caster Sugar
- 125g of Unsalted Soft Butter
- A teaspoon of Vanilla Essence
- 1 Egg (lightly beaten)
- I table spoon of cinnamon for the Chocolate Chip Cookies
- A hand full of M&Ms
- A hand full of Skittles
- A hand full of Chocolate Chips

Step One:
Add the butter and sugars to a big bowl. (I say big bowl because I tried in a small bowl and it was a disaster). Then with your hands cream the two ingredients together.

Step Two:
Add the beaten eggs and vanilla essence to the creamed butter and sugar mixture and mix/fold in.

Step Three:
Shift the self raising flour into the mixture. Then using your hands make a dough with the ingredients.

Step Four:
Separate the mixture into thirds. Put each third into a different bowl.

Step Five:
To each bowl add a different ingredient. In one bowl I had M&Ms, the other Skittles, and the other Cinnamon and chocolate chips.

Step Six:
Fold the extra ingredients into the cookie dough.

Step Seven:
Grease the baking tray and cover with baking paper.

Step Eight:
Making small little balls with the cookie dough. Mine had the diameter of around 5cm.

Step Nine:
I cooked mine separately. Also, when placing the cookies on the baking tray make sure they are spread out.

Step Ten:
Cook at 180 for around 8-15 minutes. When you take them out they should be golden around the outside. My first bake took around 15 minutes because the oven had to heat up, but the third time they only took about 8 minutes to cook.

Step Eleven:
One they are cooked leave them on the baking tray for a round 2-3 minutes so they hold their shape. Then put them onto a cooling rack and allow them to cool.

What's in my College/ School Bag?

Hi Guys!

I thought I would show you into the world of my school bag. It's not that interesting but I am nosy and love seeing what others have in their bags, so I am going to show you want is in mine. (I was writing this on a Monday)

Jack Wills Make Up Bag:
I have had this bag now for about a year and it is such a good size for just stocking stuff. In there I have some plasters, Cath Kidston hand cream, two nail files, a body shop lip balm, super drug nail polish remover pads, Justin Bieber Girlfriend roll on perfume, Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick (which I was wearing today), a real techniques brush and powder.

Victorias Secret Spray:
I normally change this over so I get a different spray every now and then.

Jack Wills Pencil Case:
When I brought this case I thought it was going to be small but hell was I wrong. This is such a great bag sized pencil case. I have some black pens, a blue pen, a red pen, a highlighter, pencil, ruler and a random sharpie.

Don't really know what to say about water, its just water.

Sixth Form Card:
Need that to get into the school sixth form. I look like a twat.

When I say keys I mean a key, which is my home key with my very old Justin Bieber keyring on it.

King Lear and A Level History textbook:
I had english and history today, hence why I have a Shakespeare book and history textbook.

English and history notebook:
The same as the above.

So that's what is in my school bag. The bag I have is from Topshop and you can see that in my 'Collective Haul'.

So what's in your bag?
